If you look at the buttons of the jacket, you will see a coat of arms with the words "HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE", a French expression adopted by the English court of Edward III of England in the 14th century.The phrase is found on the Royal Coat of Arms of Great Britain and other prominent places in Britain. The expression originates from a party at the court of Edward III. At a court ball the King's cousin Joan of Kent dropped her garter while dancing and was mocked by the people at the ball. In an act of chivalry the King said "Shame on him who thinks ill of her", since then this phrase has been added to the coat of arms of the United Kingdom.
