Kimono Jacket Dove Grey

Steering away a little bit from the very vibrant colors used in Mexican art and textiles, this kimono is all about soft greys and earthy tones. In collaboration with the women’s weaving collective in Mexico, we worked on a light grey hue for the body with woven black designs.

The ikat silk sleeves, also handmade and naturally dyed in Uzbekistan are cream, caramel and pale moss green. The raw silk lining is a light cedar brown with slightly pink undertones. For the finishing details we’ve added upcycled cotton fabric in a grey tie dye print.

Our Dove Grey kimono has just a very serene and soft feel about it that we love and it’s a timeless staple made to last.

It is slightly padded which makes it perfect for the first chilly autumn days, the silk lining giving it an extra comfy feel. The vest is approximately 76 cm long by 60 cm wide and fits comfortably sizes XS - L.

We want to create unique pieces with a more conscious and calm approach to fashion, taking our time to source the right natural materials and working in close collaboration with our partner families. Producing less but better in order to bring you sustainable luxury.

Please note that all our garments are entirely handmade and the textiles are handweaved using traditional techniques. No machine, except a classic sewing machine, is involved in the process. This is why some irregularities may sometimes be present such as tiny apparent threads or a slight difference in length & width.
